Learning languages

Do you think you are an effective learner? Are you able to use the language you've been learning for years? What do you do to improve your English by yourself outside the classroom?
Language learners should be patient and open-minded. Learning a language involves trying to understand a culture which is totally different from your own culture.
You must be sort of a copycat - just look back to your childhood, and think how you learn your mother tongue.

Being able to communicate in English must be your main goal, and here are some tips to help you succeed.

Make English part of your life
Learn to Think in English!
Learn from your mistakes
Learn Commonly-used Irregular Verbs in English

And finally, if you're into TV shows like series or hilarious sit-coms, why don't you try watching them in English? It'll give you great `ear training´.
